What this scenario solves

Share only approved rooms, devices, scenes, cameras, sensors, and Ambient access while owner settings stay behind a PIN.

What you need

• A compatible iPad running iPadOS 18 or later
• An administrator or security PIN created by the owner
• The owner’s personal iCloud account available on iPad and Apple TV

What to do

Configure the supported settings on iPad, then verify the result on every iPad and Apple TV that will use it.

1. Enable Guest Access, create a profile, allow only the required content, preview it on iPad, then select that profile on Apple TV if needed.
2. Switch into the guest profile and confirm that owner settings and every unapproved room, device, and module stay hidden.
3. Open the result on the listed device, test every visible control, and make sure people using the shared screen can see only what you intended.
